Huddersfield Town Community Trust
Huddersfield Town Community Trust is a registered charity (1117768) and, as such, is a non-profit making organisation. Using the influence of professional sport, it is responsible for all community sports and educational activities on behalf of Huddersfield Town Football Club. We are based within the indoor venue The Zone, which is where all the community work and activities are coordinated from.
Huddersfield Town Community Trust has the ability to engage people, improve community cohesion, improve fitness and well-being and raise the hopes and aspirations of the people of Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield. The charity uses the power of sport to inspire people of all ages engaging with 60,000 people every year through four key areas;
- Social Inclusion
Over 40,000 of these people are directly engaged in football programmes which include community football delivery, assemblies, charity days and soccer school programmes.
Huddersfield Town Community Trust are based at the indoor venue The Zone. The Zone provides a variety of opportunities for fitness and fun, with facilities including; Play Zone, Cafe Zone, Education Zone, Sports Zone with 3G pitches, Dance Zone and Gym Zone.
With over 200,000 people visiting The Zone every year, it truly is the place to be all year round, whatever the weather!
